Three ways to
show up

Decide the kind of company you want before you decide the movie. We use your room choice to match you with the right energy, not just the right title.

Intimate · 1:12 active
Intimate

Just you and one other person. Quiet chat, lower pressure, more personal. Best for date-night-coded films and ones you keep meaning to revisit.

Find a partner
Party · 3–104 active
Party

Three to ten people. Conversation flows, but the room stays focused. Set a cap if you want it smaller. Great for a film with something to talk about afterwards.

Join a party
Chaos · 10+2 active
Chaos

More than ten people. Lively chat, fast reactions, real energy. Built for cult favourites, blockbusters, and films best watched loud. Plus hosts open it. Everyone joins free.

Questions

A few things
up front

The short version: you bring the streaming subscription, we bring the people. Everything else is detail.

  • A way to find someone to watch a movie with tonight. Pick a title and a room size, and we match you with real people who want to watch it too. Everyone watches on their own streaming service while the room chats along.
  • No. You watch on your own streaming service. We only provide matching, chat, and sync tools.
  • Queue a movie and pick a room size, or join a room that's already open. When other people queue the same movie at the same size, you land in a room together. Once enough people are in, a countdown gets everyone pressing play at the same moment. Your pin stays up for the night, so you can step away, and with notifications on we'll ping you when someone queues it.
  • There are three sizes. Intimate is just you and one other person. Party is three to ten people. Chaos is the big room, ten and up: a Plus member opens it and everyone joins free. Hosts can cap a party or chaos room smaller.
  • Yes. Joining rooms, hosting anything in tonight's lineup, chat, and the random shuffle are all free, with no watch caps. Plus is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year (USD) and adds the full catalog, hosting chaos rooms, and taste-aware picks. A Tonight Pass gives you everything in Plus for 24 hours for $1.99.
  • No sign-up form. You get a random handle when you come in, no email needed. Claim it with an email and password later if you want to follow people, sign in on other devices, or get Plus.
  • Yes. Watch It With Me is for adults 18 and over, and you confirm it on your way in.
  • Yes. Queue a title you want, join one that is already active, or let WIWM pick for you.
  • They're in the pipeline. Movies come first, but demand moves the roadmap, so the more people ask for shows, the sooner we'll ship them.
  • Not yet. WIWM runs in your browser, and adding it to your home screen gets you most of the way there. We'd love to build a native app. Demand decides how soon.
